Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Coordinator to join our growing team based in Libertyville, Illinois. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC) system through job costing evaluation analysis in the SFDC system of Radius; review Radius costing data for accuracy and investigate any irregularities, and maintain materials and finished goods inventory data.
Some Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for accuracy of physical inventory including investigating and resolving all variances.
• On a daily basis, review all job costing reports for finished jobs. Verify the accuracy of the report(s). Discuss discrepancies with production staff and make corrections as needed.
• Review previous days SFDC shift reports and investigate any issues. Discuss discrepancies with Production management and make corrections as needed.
• On a weekly basis, prepare “Jobs Completed and Costing” Report which identifies all jobs that ran at 7% or higher over budget.
• Run cost extract and review for irregularities and investigate any issues. At the request of the Accounting Manager, investigate labor and material variances and report software errors in the SFDC system to the IT Department.
• Reverse charge unused materials from pressroom, identify materials, and determine quantities to account for. Return materials to inventory with proper inventory reference label attached.
• Receive requisitions from Pre-Press for all packaging. Research price and delivery then, as appropriate, place purchase orders with vendors. Follow up with vendors to ensure deliveries meet company needs.
Requirements:
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Two years’ experience with inventory control or production costing preferably in a printing environment.
• Strong computer skills including ability to use Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent math, verbal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team which is based in Libertyville Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales within the print and label industry, with a proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and maintaining long-term customer relationships. This role requires a dynamic individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional service and value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the custom print and label sector. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Sales Process Management: Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings and capabilities. Present our solutions in a way that addresses customer pain points and provides measurable value.
- Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Regularly report on sales activity, pipeline status, and market developments to the Sales Manager.
- Travel: Participate in client meetings, industry trade shows, and other events as needed to build relationships and generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the custom print and label industry or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficient in CRM software (Preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Highly motivated, organized, self-starter with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required (locally and nationally) to meet with clients and attend industry events.

The Press Operator is responsible for working from shop orders, specifications and instructions and manage press runs by operating high-speed equipment for double-sided printing of labels, tags and forms. Ensures that, on a daily basis, tasks are completed in a safe, organized manner and that their work area is clean and in an orderly condition to achieve budgeted set-up time and press speeds.
Responsibilities:
- Check and verify paper stock, mount and web paper through prescribed operation sequence. Make setups for double-sided, multiple color and multiple layer printing and processing.
- Adjust and align adhesives, slitting and perforating wheels, die cutters, machine controls, and butt slicers.
- Make initial run, checking printing register, make final adjustments to correct press, and obtain approval for run.
- Regulate ink flow, adjust equipment during run to maintain register, proper impression, and color, and maintain quality standards.
- Clean press and press area, lubricate periodically, clean rollers and plates, change ink, plates, and dies at the end of run as required.
- Inspect and package product as it comes off press at target speeds.
- Remove printed material, place in containers or cartons, load and move to designated locations as well as maintaining ink pumps, hoses, ink trays, and chamber blade units.
- Train new operators and notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating condition.
- Follow safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 6+ months press operator experience with high-speed presses (flexo)
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
- Excellent math aptitude, skilled in reading a ruler and strong written and verbal communications
- Differentiate color and visually inspect product as it is produced
- High attention to detail and accuracy will be required for data input tasks
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. several times daily, and stand and walk for entire shift
- Work independently with minimal supervision and cooperatively with others
- Overtime will be required during the busy season with up to a 12-hour shift

The Flexographic Press Operator Apprentice will train and gain the experience and skills needed to operate and produce quality product on Flexographic presses. This position will also gain knowledge of product quality, process and procedures while positively contributing to meet Chicago Tag & Label’s safety, quality and production goals.
Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions on shop orders to specifications.
- Check and verify paper stock for job runs, mount and web paper through prescribed operation sequence and make setups for two-sided, multiple color and multiple layer printing and processing.
- Adjust feed guides, grippers and elevator, synchronize feed and timing for multiple part and layer mating and adhesion and mount and adjust plates to cylinder.
- Adjust and align adhesives applications, slotting, slitting and perforating dies, die cutters, machine controls, inking and feeders and repack cylinders as required.
- Make initial run, checking printing and register, make final adjustments to correct press and obtain approval for run.
- Regulate ink flow, adjust equipment during run to avoid register slippage or poor impression and color register and maintain quality standards.
- Remove printed material, place in containers or cartons, load and move to designate locations.
- Clean press and press are, lubricate press periodically, clean rollers and plates and change ink at end of press run as required.
- Communicate unusual equipment or operating problems to Supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Preferred 3 months similar experience or equivalent education (Recent successful completion or current enrollment in classes in mechanical/technical fields)
- Excellent math, ruler, and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to differentiate color
- Experience with and ability to work efficiently with hand tools and measuring instruments
- Ability to use a computer
- Mechanical inclination
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. several times daily
- Ability to work standing and walking and visually inspect product as it is manufactured
