Chicago Tag & Label, Inc. Earns U.S. Postal Service Supplier Performance Award

The U.S. Postal Service announced that Chicago Tag & Label, Inc. has been selected for a Supplier Performance Award for their efforts during 2022. Chicago Tag & Label, Inc. was selected for the award by postal professionals for their performance on their USPS contract, which helped the USPS benefit from supply chain management best practices.
For over 30 years the Postal Service’s Supplier Recognition program has celebrated the efforts of suppliers who make outstanding contributions to the success of the Postal Service. The Supplier Performance Awards program recognizes suppliers involved in Supply Chain Management (SCM) whose successes made a difference in helping the Postal Service achieve positive bottom-line savings, increased revenue or performance results, and who have consistently exhibited a collaborative business relationship with the USPS.

It is an acknowledgment of a mutually beneficial relationship between Chicago Tag & Label, Inc. and the USPS that spans many years,” said Carl Opel, Executive Vice President and General Manager for Chicago Tag & Label. “Together we have delivered high-quality products to support the critical operations of the Postal Service. The acknowledgment came after the global COVID-19 pandemic, where supply chain restrictions made providing labeling solutions extremely difficult. But despite the obstacles, Chicago Tag & Label was committed to providing over 99 million high-quality labels that helped place critically important COVID-19 test kits in the hands of millions of Americans.
